365 Days 4: Will there be a fourth movie?

With The Next 365 Days out now and ending on a rather ambiguous note, fans are already eager to know if 365 Days 4 is in the works at Netflix.

Blanka Lipinska's original book series only had three instalments, and now Netflix has adapted and published all three: 365 Days, 365 Days: This Day, and The Next 365 Days.

Netflix released The Next 365 Days in August 2022 and the ending is not as final as one might expect for the end of a trilogy.

As of writing this article on August 19, 2022, Netflix has not announced 365 Days 4. It doesn’t mean there won’t be another movie, but right now it doesn’t sound like there is one in the works.

The franchise has been controversial and critically panned from the start, so there isn’t necessarily a strong incentive for Netflix to keep making these films.

Following in the footsteps of other romance authors like Stephanie Meyer and E.L. James, 365 Days author Blanka Lipinska has an idea for where to take her story next.

She told Today that she isn’t ready to say goodbye to Massimo just yet and wants to tell a new story, “from the beginning. But this time from the perspective of Massimo.”

It’s similar to what Meyers did with Midnight Sun and James with Freed. If Netflix does decide to greenlight 365 Days 4, perhaps it will be told from Massimo’s point of view.
